Arc South Book Fair (29.03.25)

Can you believe this was my first time being a vendor at a book fair?

Although I published my first children's book in December 2014, The Arc South Book Fair 2025 was my first official book fair, and we had an amazing time!

Yes, we sold books, but for me, seeing what God has done through this past decade is what shone through.

Firstly, I was so grateful to have such an amazing event-day team to support me. Anne-Marie, Abigail, and Natalie served so willingly and with such professionalism, helping Pura Kids Books display the excellence of God.

Secondly, I was blown away by the fact that I had eight books on display. Yes, eight! For me, this reiterated the fact that God wastes nothing! The start of my journey as a children's author coincided with the hardest year (and following decade) of my life. It was truly an arid wilderness season in all areas, yet through it all, and BY HIS GRACE, I was still able to write and publish...

...and NOW the Lord is making things beautiful in HIS time!

It's amazing what you can do with no resources, plus faith and obedience. Scripture is accurate when it says it is the Lord who gives us the power to get wealth (Deuteronomy 8:18). Although I didn't have much throughout the past decade, I still used my gifts, I still wrote and published (resourcefully), and I still sowed as the Lord led.

Looking up, now I have a whole children's publishing imprint with multiple titles that bring key messages needed in this generation.
